A Warm Welcome

“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” (Ephesians 2:10)

Welcome to the website of St Clement’s Parish Church.
We are an Anglican church and, along with our daughter church of St Nicholas, serve St Clement, a parish in the south-east corner of the Channel Island of Jersey. Here you will find information about our life and mission, including the charitable work we are involved in, here in Jersey and elsewhere.

Here is the Rector’s letter and order of service for 23rd January 2022 and and article Remembering Rev Laurence Lee

WHat's on

If you would like to attend a service or plan an event, click the link below to view the diary and find out more. Both the Caldwell Hall and the church hall in St Nicholas are available for hire.

Our ‘new normal’ is changing all the time! From July 2021 we are holding a said service of Holy Communion at St Nicholas at 09h00  followed by a service at 10h30 in the meadow churchyard. If the weather is inclement, we will be holding an ‘indoors-outdoors’ service in the Parish Church instead.  All are services are socially-distanced. We aim to record the 09h00 service and include a link to the recording in the following week’s service sheet. The 10h30 service is usually live-streamed. You can find this on our Facebook page.

Recordings, readings, prayers and information updates from the Rector are available by clicking on this link:

Whatever counts for ‘normal’ has been changing throughout the pandemic but we are now holding a said service of Holy Communion at St Nicholas at 09h00 and, following a wonderful summer where we met in the wild flower meadow above St Clement’s Church, with the arrival of autumn we have now gone back to meeting inside the church at 10h30.

Both the Caldwell Hall and the church hall at St Nicholas are available for hire for one-off and for regular events.

We publish a weekly newsletter from the Rector along with a service sheet for the 10h30 Sunday service, which includes Bible readings, prayers and a short reflection on the readings.

We usually live-stream the 10h30 service and, from time to time, other special services.

There may be occasions when it is necessary to register to attend a service because of restrictions in the numbers allowed for physical gatherings.
