Step inside, discover the quiet beauty of St Clement’s Church, and how much it has changed over the centuries.
Although our churchyard is busy, people are struck by its peace and beauty. Discover how Christians today remember their past with hope for the future.
Life is a journey, and the Church has rejoiced and grieved with generations of Saint Clémentais at significant times of their lives: particularly when couples have fallen in love and have wanted to dedicate themselves to each other in the sight of God; to thank God for the gift of children, and when life is over, to commit their dearly departed ones to God’s everlasting love. We are always available to talk to you about how we may be of help, but here you can find some resources to help you with your plans.
One of life’s great moments, a time of solemn commitment as well as good wishes, feasting and joy – a sign of new beginnings.
The birth of a child is a cause for great celebration, as is baptism (christening) into the family of the Church – becoming ‘children of God’.
Celebrating the life of a loved-one, hearing words of comfort from scripture and commending them to God our maker and redeemer.
